Happiness is a natural phenomenon; it does not need any long-term technique or ambition. Yes, one can’t stay happy all the time as situations change from good to bad. But, this doesn’t mean that you should always remain sad and tensed. There are many ways which can make you happy in next 30 minutes. Some of them are listed below –
Take a Walk Outside: When you connect with the outside world, you will observe many things like chirping birds, people, vehicles, trees, etc. Even observing these things will make you feel happy and stress-free. Not only this, even sunlight falling on you will produce pleasure in you as there are various chemical released in the brain which make you feel happy.
Raise your Activity Level: Whether it is your home, office or any other building, don’t take elevator, simply use the stairs. While talking on the phone, stand up and pace instead of sitting at a place. Take a brisk 10 minute walk in between your work.
Take a Cold Shower: Melt your stress in the cool water and get refreshed. Cold shower improves blood circulation, relieves depression and increases energy and well-being.
Reach Out: Meet a friend whom you have not seen for a long time or just send an e-mail to him/her. This will make you happy as you will memorize the happy days spent together.
Get Off a Nagging Task: Just complete the task which you have been postponing for a long time. For example, if you want to visit doctor for certain illness, which you have been nagging since a long time then just get rid of it.
Play with your Pet: Enjoy playing with your pet as it will give you pleasure. Run behind it, cuddle it or play fetch with it. This will not only make you smile but also increase your metabolic activity when you run which is good for your health.
Pamper yourself: A good massage will relieve your physical as well as mental stress. You will feel burden-free and rejuvenated.
Watch Photographs: Enter your young age again by viewing pictures. You will laugh at your funny activities that you did in your young age.
